Drawing and Measuring

Let’s say you are planning to build a new house and you want to draw the location of your

new home on a lot. Or, maybe you have a need to measure the square footage or acreage

of a particular area.

There is a widget available in the Cowlitz County NetMaps online application that will do

both of these functions. It is called the “Draw and Measure” widget.

Since this widget is not automatically displayed by default when you open the website, you

will need to open it by selecting it from the Toolbox menu.

When you click to open the widget, its corresponding widget interface will be displayed on

the right side of the window.
