NoticesNOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION FOR CARROLLS SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 118 COWLITZ COUNTY, WASHINGTON Tuesday, April 7, 1981 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on Tuesday, the 7th day of April, 1981, in Carrolls School District No. 113, Cowlitz County, Washington, at the poll- ing place listed below, there will be held a Special Levy Election as set forth below: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of Carrolls School District No. 118, Cowlitz County, Washington: THAT _a Special School Election be held in the aforesaid school district on the 7th day of April, 1981, for the purpose of submitting to the electors of said school district for their approval or rejection the following proposition: PROPOSITION NO. 1 Maintenance and Operation Levy Shall Carrolls School District No. 118 of Cowlitz County, Washington, authorize the County Commissioners of Cowlitz County to levy in the year 1981 as part of the tax to be collected in 1982 the sum $105,000.00 which will require approximately $3.99 per each $1,000 of assessed valuation of the aforesaid district based upon an assessment ratio of 100% of true and fair value, said tax levy to be in addition to the maximum levy provided by law for such district, the proceeds thereof to be placed in the General Fund and used for maintenance and operation. Which shall be submitted to the electors of said school district for their approval or rejection in the form of the following Ballot Title: PUBLISHED: April 3, 1981 PROPOSITION NO. 1 Maintenance and Operation Levy Shall a Special Tax Levy of $105,000.00, an estimated $3.99 per one thousand dollars of assessed valuation, for 1981 -82 Carrolls School District No. 118 Maintenance and Operation be approved? YES / -� NO The polls of said election will be and remain open from 7:00 o'clock in the morning until 8:00 o'clock in the evening of said day, unless at the time of closing there are any electors in any polling places desiring to vote and who are qualified to participate therein, and who have not been able to do so since appearing at the polling place, in which event said polls shall be kept open long enough after the hour of closing to allow those present at that time to vote.
