NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on Tuesday, the 6th day of April, 1982,
in Carrolls School District No. 113, Cowlitz County, Washington, at the poll-
ing place listed below, there will be held a Special Levy Election as set
forth below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of
Carrolls School District No. 118, Cowlitz County, Washington:
THAT a Special School Election be held in the aforesaid school district
on the 6th day of April, 1982, for the purpose of submitting to the electors of
said school district for their approval or rejection the following proposition:
PROPOSITION NO. 1
Maintenance and Operations Levy
Shall Carrolls School District No. 113, Cowlitz County,
Washington, levy an excess tax estimated dollar rate of
$3.58 per $1,000 of assessed valuation to raise exactly
$88,400 during the 1983 calendar year and to levy an ex-
cess tax in excess of the limitations now imposed by law
to be at the estimated dollar rate of $3.30 per $1,000
of assessed valuation to raise exactly $81,500 during the
1984 calendar year. Said funds to be placed in the General
Fund of said District to help defray the cost of maintain-
ing the educational programs of the District for the 1982-
83 and 1983 -84 school years.
Which shall be submitted to the electors of said school district for their
approval or rejection in the form of the following Ballot Title:
PROPOSITION NO. 1
Maintenance and Operations Levy
Shall a two -year levy be collected consisting of $88,400
(to be collected in 1983, requiring tax of approximately $3.58
per one - thousand dollars of assessed valuation) and $81,500
(to be collected in 1984, requiring tax of approximately $3.30
per one - thousand dollars of assessed valuation) for Carrolls
School District No. 118 for Maintenance and Operation be
approved?

The polls of said election will be and remain open from 7:00 o'clock
in the morning until 8:00 o'clock in the evening of said day, unless at the
time of closing there are any electors in any polling places desiring to vote
and who are qualified to participate therein, and who have not been able to
do so since appearing at the polling place, in which event said polls shall
be kept open long enough after the hour of closing to allow those present at
that time to vote.

NOTICE OF CLOSING OF VOTERS' REGISTRATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Section
4, Chapter 127, Laws of 1973, 3rd Ex. Sess., all precincts within the
boundaries of Carrolls School District No. 118, County of Cowlitz, State
of Washington, will be closed for original registration of voters and for
transfer of registrations from one precinct to another precinct within
Cowlitz County, on the 6th day of March, 1982, said day being thirty (30)
days prior to Tuesday, April 6, 1982, which is the date set for the
Special Election for Carrolls School District No. 118 to be held on Tues,
day, April 6, 1982.
Saturday, March 6, 1982, is the last day voters residing in the
following precinct will be permitted to register prior to the Election.
