ResolutionsCARROT.T S SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 118 Resolution No. 1 -82 WHEREAS, there are insufficient funds available to Carrolls School District No. 118 of Cowlitz County, State of Washington, to pay the cost of maintaining the educational program of the District for the 1982 -83 and 1983 -84 school years and additional funds are needed to prevent the impairment of the District's obligations, and WHEREAS, an emergency now exists for funds to provide for the foregoing purposes, NOW, THEREFORE, /BE IT RESOLVED that Carrolls School District No. 118 of Cowlitz County, Stat of Washington, place a proposition before the electors of said District to levy an excess tax estimated dollar rate of $ 3.5 per $1,000 of assessed valuation to raise exactly $5' ,'Qo AY,, � during the 1983 calendar year and to levy an excess tax in excess of the 'A limitations now imposed by law to be at the estimated dollar ra of $ 3, '30- ' per $1,000 of assessed valuation to raise exactly .5DD during the 1984 calendar year. Said funds to be placed in the General Fund of said District to help defray the cost of maintaining the educational programs of the District for the 1982 -83 and 1983 -84 school years. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the matter of making said excess taxes for the foregoing purposes be submitted to the qualified electors of Carrolls School District No. 118 for their approval and adoption or rejection at the special election to be held on the 6th day of April, 1982, and the Secretary of this Board is hereby instructed to notify the Election Board of Cowlitz County and the Auditor of Cowlitz County and the Supervisor of Elections of this action and to request said Board and said Supervisor to call and conduct said election in the manner provided by law.
