CANVASS OF ELECTION RETURNS CASTLE ROCK SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 401 COWLITZ COUNTY, WASHINGTON Tuesday, February 3, 1981 The undersigned, being the officers designated by law as and consti- tuting the canvassing board of the Special Election of Castle Rock School District No. 401, in Cowlitz County, Washington, hereby certify that the following is a true and correct copy and canvass of the votes polled in the precincts within the Castle Rock School District No. 401 at the Special Election held on Tuesday, February 3, 1981, as taken from the official return; and that said return contains the proposition voted upon in said Special Election with the number of votes received "Proposition No. 1, Yes" and "Proposition No. 1, No "; and that the total number of votes cast on said Proposition was 1369. The following is the Proposition voted upon: PROPOSITION NO. 1 Excess Levy for General Fund Purposes Shall Castle Rock School District No. 401, Cowlitz County, Washington, authorize the County Commissioners of Cowlitz County to levy in the year 1981 as part of the tax to be collected in 1982 the sum of $365,000.00 which will require approximately $3.09 per each $1,000.00 of assessed valuation of the aforesaid District, based upon an assessment ratio of 100% of true and fair value, said tax levy to be in addition to the maximum levy provided by law for such District, the proceeds thereof to be placed in the General Fund and used for Maintenance and Operation.
